What is ALE Home Connect and how does it work?

ALE Home Connect serves as a rental housing provider for reputable relocation and temporary placement companies who manage ALE housing on behalf of insurers. We source, verify, and organize properties so that when there is an urgent need for temporary housing, our partners can immediately access homes that meet safety and suitability standards. You benefit from a streamlined, reliable placement process without managing insurance directly.

Why should I list my property with ALE Home Connect?

You earn guaranteed, insurance-backed rent with no vacancy risk, while making a real impact in your community. We take care of the logistics so you can enjoy hassle-free income.

How do I register my property?

Simply complete our online registration form with basic rental information. Once we review your property, it becomes eligible for matching with displaced families.

What happens after I submit my property?

We review and confirm details, then add your property to our internal network. When a family’s needs match your home, we’ll contact you to approve the placement before anything is finalized.

Do you accept multiple properties?

Yes. You can register as many qualifying properties as you’d like. Many investors list their full portfolios to eliminate vacancy and maximize income.

Is there specific criteria to join your housing network?

Properties must be safe, clean, and legally rentable. Location, bedrooms, bathrooms, and availability are the primary criteria. Furnished or unfurnished homes are welcome.

Does my property need to be furnished?

Either is acceptable.

  • Furnished homes are ideal for shorter placements or urgent move-ins
  • Unfurnished homes work well for 90–180+ day stays

If the insurance carrier approves furniture rentals.

Can I upload photos when registering?

Yes — quality photos greatly improve the chances of matching your property quickly.

How do I update my property information (pricing, availability, photos)?

Just email or message us with the updates, and we’ll make the changes for you. We keep your listing up-to-date so you don’t have to manage a portal.

Will ALE Home Connect help me determine a fair rental rate?

We do not price properties — we only share your rate with our partners for approval.

How soon can I expect a placement?

It depends on demand at the time and how closely your property matches the requirements of displaced families. When a match occurs, we contact you immediately for approval.

How will I be notified if my property is selected?

We notify you directly by phone or email with all details needed to approve or decline the placement.

Do I need to screen the displaced family myself?

Landlords maintain full control over approving or declining any household we present. We encourage landlords to conduct background or credit checks, you may do so just as you would with any traditional rental applicant. We recommend reviewing the property’s rules and expectations, including utilities and any pet or damage policies, with us prior to placement.

How do I get paid and can payment be electronic?

Once your property is matched and approved for a temporary stay, payments will be made based on what is outlined in your contract with the policyholder. We’ll discuss the easiest payment option, including electronic transfers. A W-9 is required so payments can be processed correctly.

What are the requirements for listing my property with ALE Home Connect?

We welcome a wide range of rental homes. The main requirements are that your property is safe, clean, legally rentable, and available for temporary occupancy. Different families have different needs, so homes of various sizes and furnishing levels may qualify.

How long are typical stays?

Most placements last 30–180+ days, but extensions may be approved depending on the progress of repairs.

Can I decline a placement?

Yes — you have full approval rights. Nothing is scheduled without your consent.

What if my property becomes unavailable?

Simply notify us, and we’ll pause your listing until you’re ready again.
